FCM Methanol
The Alfa Laval FCM Methanol is a low-flashpoint fuel supply system (LFSS) capable of supplying methanol within the flow rate, pressure, temperature, and filtration parameters specified by the engine maker. The technology can be adapted to any engine and vessel designs.
Methanol-fired steam boiler
The Aalborg boiler solutions are specifically designed with decarbonization and fuel transition in mind. Besides operating on today’s fuels, including low-sulphur fuels, biofuels and LNG, it is designed for compatibility with methanol and other emission-reducing fuels. Alfa Laval’s “ready boiler” concept provides a future-proof platform, allowing for easy adjustments to the existing burner and boiler pressure section as needed.
OceanGlide
Alfa Laval OceanGlide is a patented, next-generation solution that truly delivers on air lubrication’s promise. By combining air lubrication with fluidic technology, it creates an even air layer with high efficiency and little compressor power. The dynamic air layer, which covers the vessel’s entire flat bottom, can be controlled and optimized thanks to air distribution bands that divide it into sections.
High Speed Separator for Biofuel
For the first separator in marine industry, Alfa Laval high-speed separators are now compatible with HVO (EN15940) and with FAME (EN14214 or ASTM D6751) blends comprising residual fuel and/or distillate.
AquaBlue E2
The AQUA Blue E2 freshwater generator applies the 3-in-1 AQUA plate technology in two stages, which shrinks its footprint and multiplies the green benefits.

Decision support solutions based on weather and marine weather information for the marine industry. It is used by more than 12,000 vessels for purposes such as planning routes, optimizing shipping routes, or managing vessels in operation.
