Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation

Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation was established with investments from the Japanese government, Osaka City and Kobe City to enhance the international competitiveness of Osaka Port and Kobe Port, mainly overseeing to integrate the administration of container and ferry terminals. We will contribute to work on advancing the standardization of container terminals, enhancing feeder networks, and collecting and creating cargo measures towards improvement of port services, and development of port projects.

Ship-to-Ship LNG Bunkering Business

Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation is scheduled to commence a Ship-to-Ship LNG bunkering business in Osaka Bay and Seto Inland Sea in 2026. In this scheme, a bunkering vessel will carry, and supply LNG fuel to designated LNG-fueled ships mooring in the area.
