Product introduction

GATE RUDDER® SYSTEM

The GATE RUDDER® consists of two uniquely shaped rudders placed in parallel either side of the propeller instead of placing behind the propeller, which reduces resistance of rudder and create thrust to improve the energy consumption of 14% during the sea trial of the vessel. This is a completely new type of rudder system developed by new concept.

Fixed Pitch Propeller

KAMOME Fixed Pitch Propellers were developed when our company was established. We have continued to develop up-to-date analytical, design and production technologies to suit all ship types and to meet the full range of needs. We also respond to demands for greater economy.

Controllable Pitch Propeller

KAMOME Controllable Pitch Propellers were developed in 1961 with our unique technology. Their superior control increases safety in ship operations, and optimal control suited to operational conditions saves money.

Controllable Pitch Propeller type Thruster (TCB Type)

Excelling in performance and reliability, they improve ship control and energy conservation. Side thrusters are now essential for berthing and unberthing, for sailing in narrow waterways, maintaining position and for other ship control.

Fixed Pitch Propeller type Thruster (TFA type)

TFA-type series side thrusters incorporate fixed pitch propellers. Their simple and robust structure supports a high level of durability and provides easy maintainability.

High Lift Rudder (Flap Rudder)

The high lift flap rudder, composed of a main rudder, flap and link mechanism. During steering, the rudder generates high lift from the stream from the propeller and produces strong turning force. During sailing it has the lowest level of resistance among high lift rudders, which delivers improved economy.
