SRC has been conducting the tank testing services for hull designs and propulsion systems, initial designs of ship, supervision during construction, research studies, technical cooperation projects overseas, and comprehensive consulting services by utilizing skills, knowledge, human resources gained over many years. This time, SRC will introduce videos of our products for hull form development and improvement, and set up a corner where you can experience hull form design and pressure measurement on actual ship surface.

SMART SHIP APPLICATION PLATFORM 3
The concept of Smart Ship is to utilize IoT application services to achieve optimum ship operation in terms of safety and energy efficiency. The target of Smart Ship Application Platform (SSAP) project is to support these IoT application services to access ship equipment data easily and enhance more application services development.
The onboard data server conforming to ISO 19847 is on display.

Japan Weather Association
Japan Weather Association (JWA) provides not only the weather forecast services for the safe navigation but also provides the eco-navigation planning service for the economic navigation.
In addition, JWA have the reanalysis ocean data which called ”hindcast data” for over the past 30 years. This data can be used for the input value of the ship design and the IoT initiatives such as the ex-post evaluation of voyage or the verification of energy saving effect.
