Detail	β-caryophyllene, an essential oil component of many herbs and spices, is a selective ligand of CB2 receptor. β-caryophyllene has reportedly various biological activities as a functional food factor. Here, we introduce unreported bioactivity of β-caryophyllene related to vascular disease and possible applications.
