SSAP is contributing to the digitalization of ships from a technical perspective by leading the international standardization of common issues in the utilization of ship navigation data.
In this presentation, I will introduce the effects of utilizing the international standards established at the initiative of the SSAP, as well as future efforts in areas such as automatic vessel operation and cyber security.

IoS-OP aims to realize fair and equitable collection and distribution of ship operation data, and to contribute to ship safety and environmental protection or to pursue economic rationality, through data utilisation.
This presentation will introduce the IoS-OP as a data sharing platform, as well as best practice examples of data utilisation by ShipDC members, including performance improvements.
