WE Tech's (Finland) shaft generator uses a permanent magnet motor with a highly efficient direct drive system. By reducing the operating time of the diesel generators used when sailing a vessel, high fuel efficiency can be achieved. Currently, 68 vessels have been contracted or installed mainly for new LNG carriers and LPG carriers in China and South Korea.
